Sun City Roseville is a Del Webb community for active, retired adults. The neighborhood is comprised of 3,110 homes situated on 1,200 acres of rolling terrain with oaks trees, meandering streams and preserved open space. While the homes, sidewalks and streets are pleasant (note the lanes designated for bikes and golf carts), it’s the amenities and activities that draw retired homebuyers to this place in the sun.
The Lodge serves as the epicenter of Sun City. The 52,000-square-foot facility includes a fitness center, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, community rooms, library, ballroom, and a restaurant. There are also tennis courts, pickleball and volleyball courts, bocce courts, a croquet court, and a horseshoe pit. Sun City is also home to two golf courses – Timber Creek and Sierra Pines Golf Courses.
Neighbors stay social with more than 50 clubs and resident groups, including financial investment clubs, creative arts, bocce and golf. In addition to groups, gatherings, and recreation, the activities department organizes a myriad of trips and excursions to sporting events, theatres, museums, casinos and other attractions. Residents can keep informed with the community magazine.
Shopping, day-to-day services and amenities, as well as restaurants, movie theatres and parks, all skirt the Sun City neighborhood, which lies just blocks away from the thriving commercial offerings of Roseville.
